The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society teamed up with North Coast Subaru and Hassett of Wantagh on Monday to drop off blankets, tote bags and arts & crafts at NYU Winthrop hospitals, including its outpatient oncology practice and infusion center. Their generous donations go a long way in benefitting patients who are undergoing treatment.
Volunteers from Margolin Winer & Evens LLP, a Garden City-based accounting firm, joined Options for Community Living on Tuesday at one of its housing sites to help with painting walls inside and gardening work outside.

Members of the Lynbrook Kiwanis Club generously donated a gift of baby baskets to South Nassau Communities Hospital on Wednesday to assist new mothers in need. “The Lynbrook Kiwanettes are a valued community resource and we thank them for this gift on behalf of our patients,” South Nassau Communities said in a written statement.
