Stop & Shop launches food line for kids
Stop & Shop has launched a new Nature’s Promise Kids food product line on the eve of the back-to-school season.
The two inaugural offerings are Nature’s Promise Kids Sparkling Seltzer Water and Nature’s Promise Kids Squeezable Fruit Pouches, both marketed as healthier beverage and snacking options aimed at younger consumers.
The new products don’t include synthetic colors, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives, sweeteners, MSG or high fructose corn syrup, according to a company statement.
Nature’s Promise Kids Sparkling Seltzer Water comes in such kid-friendly flavors as bubble gum, cotton candy, sour green apple and wild cherry.
Nature’s Promise Kids Squeezable Fruit is gluten-free and BPA-free and comes in apple cinnamon, apple strawberry, apple berry banana, apple mango and apple mango banana. Each 3.2-ounce pouch is 50 calories.
Stop & Shop says it will introduce more Nature’s Promise Kids products to its new line, including apple slices, fruit snacks, cereal and more, over the next several months.
