Fall festival returns to Wading River

The Shoppes at East Wind has kicked off its Fall Festival Weekends featuring free rides and events through the end of October.

There is a farmers’ market, carousel rides, wooden train, a free bouncy house, the East Wind Scarecrow Contest and much more, all sponsored in part by People’s United Bank.

The Riverhead Ford Roundup Car Show takes place in the East Wind parking lot on Sunday Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. presented by the Mustang and Shelby Club of Long Island with free admission for all. 

On Saturday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Oct. 27, children’s book author Cindy Sommer will share her story “Saving Kate’s Flowers” and do free crafts with kids.

The Shoppes at East Wind is located at 5720 Route 25A in Wading River.
