Volunteers spruce up homes in Bay Shore

The Long Island Housing Partnership helped lead an effort to repair and clean up homes in Bay Shore this month.

Joined by members of the First Baptist Church of Bay Shore and the Town of Islip, volunteers were out in force to paint, make repairs and fix up 14 residential properties that needed a little TLC.

The effort was also supported by the State of New York Mortgage Agency.
