Cookies and crafting at Old Bethpage Village

Calling all artsy folks with a sweet tooth.

Old Bethpage Village Restoration is hosting a make-your-own cookie and historic crafts event on Saturday, Dec. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 15.

Participants can decorate a jumbo gingerbread cookie at the village’s gingerbread workshop and try their hand at historic crafts like paper piercing and making a tassel doll. Visitors can also use an old-fashioned quill pen to write a letter to Santa, who is also slated to stop by.

Tickets are $30 per cookie which includes one historic craft. Additional crafts can be purchased for $5 each.
