Town waives fees for December pet adoptions

Giving dogs and cats a home for the holidays just got less expensive.

The Town of Oyster Bay’s Animal Shelter is waiving its pet adoption fees for the month of December.

Through the rest of this month, the shelter’s usual adoption fees of $84 per pet will be waived and all usual adoption services will be provided, including the spaying or neutering of the animal, vaccination and microchipping.

The Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter is located at 150 Miller Place in Syosset and open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
