Celeb supplies PPE to Stony Brook hospital system

Former “Real Housewives” star Bethenny Frankel’s BStrong Foundation has donated thousands of surgical masks and hundreds of protective body suits to the three hospitals in the Stony Brook Hospital Network.

BStrong and its nonprofit partner, Global Empowerment Mission, recently shipped 2,000 KN95 masks, 2,000 surgical masks and 500 biohazard hazmat body suits to Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, in conjunction with The Joel Foundation, headed by Billy Joel and his wife Alexis.

BStrong GEM also sent 2,000 surgical masks and 1,000 KN95 masks to Stony Brook University Hospital and Stony Brook Southampton. Working directly with PPE manufacturers, the foundation has made a commitment to send the protective items to 250 hospitals nationwide.
