New York Riptide unveil “Healthcare Heroes Jersey”
Long Island professional lacrosse team the New York Riptide unveiled a special edition “Healthcare Heroes Jersey” to honor the unwavering commitment and heroic care given by healthcare workers to people impacted by COVID-19.
A limited quantity of the jerseys will be available for sale beginning Thursday, Sept. 10 on NewYorkRiptide.com. Fans who purchase the $50 jersey will have the ability to customize it with their name on the back or the name of their personal healthcare hero. All proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Riptide players will wear the jerseys on a special “Superhero Night” during the upcoming 2020-21 National Lacrosse League season. Orlin & Cohen, the official orthopedic and sports medicine partner of the Riptide and jersey patch partner, will have its logo featured on the jersey.
