Discount suds for hospitality workers

Hospitality workers can get a pint of beer for just $1 for the next 12 months, thanks to a Northport brewery’s special offer.

Harbor Head Brewing Co., which announced the deal this week, wants to help workers in the hospitality industry that’s been hard hit by the coronavirus pandemic, according to a brewery statement.

Hospitality professionals can visit the Harbor Head tasting room at 81 Fort Salonga Road from noon to 9 p.m. seven days a week to get a pint of Dockyard Lager for just a buck. Hospitality workers need to present their pay stub with their personal information crossed out to qualify and the offer is good through Sept. 15, 2021.

“We knew we had to do something big to help support our fellow hospitality workers who have been impacted by COVID-19,” Sosh Andriano and Candi Schade, co-owners of Harbor Head Brewing Co., said in the statement. “This beer is just a small way for us to say we got your back, we will get through this together, and we are one.”
