Pat LaFontaine to host charity poker tourney

Want to play Texas Hold’Em with NHL legend Pat LaFontaine?

Then the upcoming Courage & Cards 4 Kids event is for you.

Organized by LaFontaine’s Companions in Courage Foundation, the online poker tourney’s proceeds will be used to provide tablets to keep pediatric patients connected to the outside world during their hospital stays.

LaFontaine will be joined by his sports celebrity friends Clark Gillies, Bob Nystrom, Wally Szczerbiak and others for the virtual poker event.

Courage & Cards 4 Kids starts at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15.
