Trick-or-treat alley comes to Smith Haven Mall drive-in

The Movie Lot drive-in movie series at the Smith Haven Mall is gearing up for Halloween with a line-up of frightfully appropriate films and a special trick-or-treat alley.

The 7:15 p.m. showings of “Ghostbusters” on Friday, Oct. 23 and “Monsters Inc.” on Saturday, Oct. 24 will feature a trick-or-treat alley, where ticket holders can drive down a row of sponsor tents and collect treats along the way. Trick-or-treat alley is sponsored by Ronald McDonald House.

Prior to the Oct. 23 showing of “Ghostbusters,” ticket holders can also attend a meet and greet with the Long Island Ghostbusters troop and pose for pictures with their Ghostbusters car.

Other films next weekend at Movie Lot include “Beetlejuice” at 10 p.m. on Oct. 23; “Hocus Pocus” at 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 24; and “The Ring” at midnight on Oct. 24.
