Free meals for Uniondale residents

Residents of Uniondale will be able to get a two-week supply of free meals next week, thanks to Whitson’s Culinary Group and the Uniondale School District.

The Greater Uniondale Area Action Coalition is organizing the food distribution, which takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at schools in the Uniondale district.

Open to all Uniondale residents, the event will distribute a two-week supply of breakfast, lunch and snacks for free.

Those interested are urged to call their local Uniondale school.
