Dairy Queen opens in Nesconset

A new Dairy Queen Grill & Chill restaurant has opened in Nesconset.

The DQ at 594 Middle Country Road is the sixth Dairy Queen to open on Long Island since the chain returned here in 2013.

Existing DQ’s are located in Massapequa, Levittown, East Northport, Huntington and Medford.

Franchisee Kanwal Azam, who also owns 7-Eleven convenience stores, is the owner and operator of the Nesconset DQ.

The new DQ is expected to create more than 100 part-time and full-time jobs.
