New Ashley HomeStore donates 50 beds to Hope For Youth

The new Ashley HomeStore in Patchogue celebrated its grand opening this week by donating 50 beds to Hope For Youth.

Located in the Gateway Plaza Shopping Center at 499 Sunrise Highway, the new store held a ribbon-cutting ceremony where representatives from Ashley HomeStore and Hope For Youth, as well as employees, families of youth receiving the donated beds, and members of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce were in attendance.

Hope for Youth is a local nonprofit with a 50-year history of serving children, youth, and families across the Long Island region.

“A good night’s sleep is something many of us take for granted,” Kate Travers, Hope For Youth’s director of program development, said in a written statement. “From challenges at school to struggles making friends – lack of access to a comfortable bed can have an incredible impact on a child’s life. We are so excited to be partnering with Ashley HomeStore to provide these much-needed beds to local youth.”

The new Patchogue showroom is owned and operated by Edison, N.J.-based Factory Direct Enterprises, an Ashley HomeStore licensee with 22 stores in the New York and New Jersey areas.
