Whaling Museum to hold antiques sale

The Whaling Museum and Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor will hold its second antiques sale next month.

Vendors will be returning to the museum for the event on Sunday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Funds raised will help support the museum’s education programs.

For this year’s event, admission to the museum is free and there will be historical walking tours through Cold Spring Harbor.

“Last year’s inaugural event was such a success,” Cindy Grimm, assistant director of the museum, said in a written statement. “We had a great group of vendors who will be returning this year, along with some new faces. As an outdoor event, we were able to spread out much more to accommodate social distancing, and had free admission to the museum so people could really take their time to look around at antiques and artifacts.”For more information visit: www.cshwhalingmuseum.org
