NY Islanders offering street hockey clinics for kids

The New York Islanders are teaming up with the Town of Oyster Bay to offer street hockey clinics this summer.

The six-week program, to be held at three town parks, is open to children in kindergarten through seventh grade.

Registration is $125 per person and space is limited. All clinic participants will receive a New York Islanders hockey stick and gift bag.

The hour-long clinic sessions will be held at:

Syosset-Woodbury Community Park in Woodbury on Friday evenings from July 2 to August 6 at 4:30 p.m. for grades K-2; at 5:45 p.m. for grades 3-5; and at 7 p.m. for grades 6 and 7.                  

Marjorie Post Community Park in Massapequa on Sunday mornings from June 27 to August 8 at 9:30 a.m. for grades K-2; at 10:45 a.m. for grades 3-5; and at noon for grades 6 and 7.

 Ellsworth Allen Town Park in Farmingdale on Monday evenings from June 28 to August 2 at 4:30 p.m. for grades K-2; at 5:45 p.m. for grades 3-5; and at 7 p.m. for grades 6 and 7.
