The Pizzeria opens in Islip

Town officials and local business leaders joined the owners of The Pizzeria for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their newest location in Islip.

The Pizzeria is now open at 591 Main St. It’s the second location for The Pizzeria, following its original restaurant at 606 Montauk Highway in Bayport.

Islip Chamber of Commerce President Liz Mayott and Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended the opening event for the new Islip eatery. They were joined by The Pizzeria partners Cliff Weinstein, Paul Saccoccio, Danny Saccoccio, David Zwaik, Jacob Zwaik and Carlos Delgado.
