Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze returning to Long Island
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze will return to Old Bethpage Village Restoration next month, after the popular event made its Long Island debut last year.
The Blaze, which runs from Sept. 22 through Nov. 7, features more than 7,000 hand-carved jack o’lanterns and elaborate pumpkin sculptures at the walk-through experience.
New this year is an 80-foot circus train, a nod to the 146-year run of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus at the nearby Nassau Coliseum, a sea monster and many new creative creatures from under the ocean.
The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is also returning for its 17th year to its original location in the Hudson Valley at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson.
The Long Island event dates are Sept. 22 through Sept. 26; Sept. 29 through Oct. 3; Oct. 6 through Oct. 11; Oct. 20 through Oct. 24; Oct. 27 through Oct. 31; and Nov. 3 through Nov. 7.
Online tickets start at $32 for adults and $24 for children 3 to 17 and are free for children 2 and under.More information about The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is available at pumpkinblaze.org.
