Habitat for Humanity hosting community cleanup in Bellport

If you’re looking for a chance to volunteer and make a difference, this inaugural event from Habitat for Humanity might be for you.

Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk, along with the Island Outreach Foundation, is hosting its First Annual Community Clean Up in Bellport next month.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, those looking to lend a hand are invited to join in this beautification effort in the Bellport area.

Volunteers will be meeting at the Boys & Girls Club at 471 Atlantic Ave. in Bellport for the clean up event, which is also in partnership with Junkluggers, Arrow Technologies and the Boys & Girls Club.
