Shooting fundraiser benefits Habitat for Humanity

A clay shooting event will be held next week to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk and the Long Island Chapter of the International Facility Management Association.

The 2021 Charity Sporting Clay Outing is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 18 at Suffolk County Skeet, Trap and Sporting Clays at 165 Gerard Road in Yaphank.

The event starts at 8 a.m. with a continental breakfast and safety talk.

Participants can test their accuracy with 100 clay targets across 14 stations. Following the shooting competition there is a BBQ lunch, prize awards, a Long Bird 50/50 competition and drawing of raffle tickets.
