S.W.A.G. Foundation hosting holiday event in Port Washington
This is My S.W.A.G. Foundation will hold its Holly Jolly Swag Day event in Port Washington later this month.
Holly Jolly Swag Day is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the Landmark on Main Street theater at 232 Main St.
The foundation is seeking donations of new, unwrapped toys for children between the ages of 11 to 13 for distribution at the event. Holly Jolly Swag Day will also feature a DJ and light show, Kerboomkidz Dance Fitness, celebrities, performances, lunch and more.
Holly Jolly Swag Day is the brainchild of Kershel Anthony, a Long Island artist who has been lighting up the dance and entertainment world as a choreographer and entertainer for over 20 years.
“We are pulling out all the stops to deliver joy to middle schoolers at the event,” Anthony said in a written statement. “We’re working with the Hempstead Middle School to give a little joy to the local children this holiday season.”
