New COVID testing sites opening on Long Island

New COVID-19 testing sites opened this week on Long Island.

Northwell Health opened two drive-through PCR testing sites located at the former McCann Mercy High School across from Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and at Christopher Morley Park in Roslyn.

New York State opened testing sites at IBEW Local 25 at 370 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge and at Kennedy Memorial Park on Greenwich Street in Hempstead.

Suffolk County announced three new rapid antigen COVID testing sites administered by Baseline Health and Reef Technologies. The county opened a testing site in Hecksher State Park in East Islip this week, which will be open every Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Next week, the county adds testing sites at Red Creek Park at 100 Old Riverhead Park in Hampton Bays and another at Cathedral Pines County Park at 116 Yaphank Middle Island Road in Middle Island.

The Red Creek Park site will be open on Mondays only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Cathedral Pines site will be open Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
