Ice rinks to hold Skate for a Cause food drive

Three Town of Oyster Bay ice rinks are inviting residents to skate for a cause on 2/22/22.

Those who bring two non-perishable food items to the rinks on Tuesday, Feb. 22, will be able to pay just $2 for admission and $2 for skate rentals. In addition to those discounts, the concession stands at the rinks will offer $2 pretzels, $2 hot chocolate and $2 churros for the day as well.

The participating ice rinks include outdoor rinks at Marjorie Post Park in Massapequa and Syosset-Woodbury Community Park, and the indoor Town Skating Center at Bethpage Community Park.

Public skating sessions at the rinks on 2/22/22 run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
