Snow globe workshop at Whaling Museum

Make your own snow globe at the Whaling Museum and Education Center in Cold Spring Harbor next week.

The museum is offering two workshops on how to make a snow globe from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23 and Thursday, Feb. 24.

Participants can use clay, glitter and other materials provided to create a wintry whale scene inside of a shimmering snow globe.

The workshops, which cost $10 ($5 for museum members), are recommended for anyone ages 5 and up.
