L.I. Against Domestic Violence to hold annual gala

L.I. Against Domestic Violence will be holding its annual fundraising gala on Thursday evening May 19.

Called the Purple Tie Gala, the event will honor Eric Fishon of TD Bank, who will receive the nonprofit’s Community Solutions award and attorney Latoya James, who will receive the Excellence in Empowering Women award.

LIADV provides services for victims of domestic violence, including counseling, courtroom advocacy, legal assistance, vocational and financial training and more.

The LIADV Purple Tie Gala will be held at The Piermont, located at 494 Fire Island Ave. in Babylon.
