Mamma Mia! Comes to Babylon’s Argyle Theatre

The Argyle Theatre in Babylon will be presenting the Broadway hit “Mamma Mia!”

Propelled by the music of ABBA, “Mamma Mia!” tells the story of a young woman’s search for her birth father amidst the backdrop of a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago. 

Performances begin on Thursday, March 17 and run through Sunday, May 1.

Written by Catherine Johnson with music and lyrics by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus, “Mamma Mia!” is directed and choreographed by Antoinette DiPietropolo with musical direction by Jonathan Brenner.

The show’s cast features several Broadway and regional players, including Julie Cardia as Donna; Gina Milo as Tanya; Jaelle Laguerre as Rosie; and Benjamin Eakeley as Sam.
