Tanger Outlets hosts annual North Meets South festival

North Meets South, the annual festival that brings the communities of Long Island’s North Shore and South Shore together, will be held at Tanger Outlets in Riverhead next month.

The event, held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, features provisions from local farms and food from restaurants, food trucks, drinks from local breweries, vineyards, and cider houses, and more than 125 vendors.

The family-friendly festival also features several children, teen, and adult activities, including life-sized yard games, Bubble Palooza bubble bash, live interactive entertainment for children and adults, and live music.

Festival organizers, the NoFo Event Co., encourage attendees to bring a non-perishable food item to the festival to help Long Island Cares provide for the hungry and food insecure.

Tickets are $5 per person through May 30 and after that, tickets are $10 online or $8 cash at the door. Kids 2 and under are free.
