Peconic Baykeeper presents Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The Peconic Baykeeper will present the Wild & Scenic Film Festival on Sunday, July 10.

The event, inspired by the 50th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, will be held at the Southampton Arts Center at 25 Jobs Lane in Southampton.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. and the festival kicks off at 7:30 p.m. with a Q&A with Pete Topping, executive director of Peconic Baykeeper, moderated by journalist Alexandra Talty. 

The films, geared to inspire action to protect and restore waterways, begin at 8 p.m. They include “Finding Salmon,” “Bodies of Water,” “Guardians of the River,” “Land of the Yakamas,” and more.

Tickets are $10 and the event is free for members of Southampton Arts Center. All proceeds benefit the Peconic Baykeeper nonprofit.
