Fundraiser to aid children with leukemia

An upcoming evening of food, fun, music and more will benefit the Children’s Leukemia Research Foundation.

The fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mercato Kitchen and Cocktails in Massapequa Park.

The event will feature a buffet dinner, drink specials, DJ entertainment and raffles, with a grand prize of a $1,000 Amazon gift card.

Founded in 1965, Children’s Leukemia Research Foundation is a Garden City-based nonprofit that funds research grants for leukemia and blood related cancer and also provides financial assistance to children and adults battling any type of blood cancer.
