Tulum Tacos & Tequila opening in Mineola

Tulum Tacos & Tequila, a new restaurant featuring modern Mexican cuisine, will soon open in Mineola.

The new eatery, located at 230 Jericho Turnpike, is slated to open on Thursday, Dec. 1.

Tulum has 130 seats inside and 45 seats on its outdoor patio. The restaurant plans to open a taco takeout window early next year.

The eclectic menu features classic street tacos with seared tuna and Baja fish with shaved cabbage and lemon aioli, wagyu beef, and vegan and vegetarian-friendly soyrizo and chayote milanese with avocado and lemon crema.

Tulum also offers an array of salads, snacks, and crudos, from fluke with leche de tigre to hamachi aguachile cucumber and jalapeno, as well as traditional desserts with a modern spin, such as Twinkie tres leches and spicy chocolate buñuelos.
