Bond Vet opening in Woodbury

Bond Vet, a growing chain of veterinary clinics, will open a new location in Woodbury next week.

The new clinic is located in Woodbury Common at 8285 Jericho Turnpike and is slated to open on Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Offering both primary and urgent care, Bond Vet is a one-stop shop for veterinary care for busy pet parents, with services that range from routine exams and vaccinations, to urgent care for issues like intestinal problems, eye and ear infections, wounds and other injuries. The exam price for first-time Bond Vet visitors is just $25.

The Woodbury clinic is the chain’s fourth on Long Island, following others in Roslyn, Garden City and Merrick. To celebrate the new location, Bond Vet is partnering with Long Island Cares – Baxter’s Pet Food Pantry to support families struggling with pet food and supplies. On opening day, the company will donate all proceeds to the organization, and will also collect physical donations throughout the month at the Woodbury clinic.

“As a Long Islander myself, I’m eager to bring our comprehensive care to Woodbury and to meet the pet parent community here,” Dr. Libby Kaladeen, associate regional medical director of Bond Vet, said in a company statement. “It’s our mission to keep the bond with your pet healthy and strong, and we’re looking forward to caring for local pets for years to come.”
