Farmingdale to host St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Farmingdale Village is hosting the 9th Annual Farmingdale St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 12.

The parade, which kicks off at 1 p.m. at Northside Elementary School, continues about a half-mile down Main Street to the Village Green. The parade features local community groups, local fire departments, pipe bands and more.

The SPD Parade Grand Marshal this year will be Monsignor Mark P. Rowan of St. Kilian Parish.

Main Street will be temporarily closed for the parade, which is sponsored by the Farmingdale Business Improvement District. Parade organizers give special thanks to Joe Fortuna of The Nutty Irishman, the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce and all of the parade participants.
