Free theater event with veteran actor in Hampton Bays

The Canoe Place Inn’s Front Row is hosting a free event that features an interview with a veteran actor and a chance for budding thespians to take stage direction.

Jay O. Sanders, one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood, will sit down for a 90-minute interview with New York City-based director and actor Robert Galinsky from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 at The Pavilion at Canoe Place Inn at 239 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.

The free event features an audience Q&A, and a few fortunate actors will get a chance to get on their feet and take direction from Sanders, who has been called a national treasure by American Theater magazine.

Sanders has over 50 memorable film, stage, and screen roles. He’s appeared in “Uncle Vanya,” Shakespeare in the Park, “JFK and The Day After Tomorrow,” “True Detective,” “Sneaky Pete,” “When You Finish Saving The World,” and many more.
