Ashley and Hope to Dream provides beds for children

Ashley celebrated its newest furniture store by donating new beds for local children.

The new Ashley store is located at 3230 Middle Country Road in Lake Grove, where store officials joined representatives of the Hope to Dream organization and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island to donate the beds.

Hope to Dream receives the majority of its mattress donations from Ashley. Mattress purchases from Ashley stores help Hope to Dream fulfill its mission of providing every child with a good night’s sleep. Since 2010, Hope to Dream has donated more than 140,000 bed sets to children in need.

“We are proud to be a member of this community and to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island in their mission of serving children,” Justin Chrinian, chief revenue officer for 24 Ashley stores in the region, said in a company statement. “They have served the Long Island area for over 40 years, and we are happy to be a part of their efforts.”

The Lake Grove store is owned and operated by Eugene Chrinian, who owns 23 additional Ashley retail locations in the surrounding region. Ashley has more than 1,125 locations worldwide.
