Habitat for Humanity hosting 5K fundraiser

Habitat for Humanity of Long Island is hosting its first-ever 5K Walk/Run fundraising event.

Individuals or groups can sign up to participate in the run or walk event that takes place on Sunday, June 4 at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford.

The fundraiser will help support Habitat’s mission to strengthen communities by providing quality, affordable homes and giving a “hand up” to deserving families on Long Island.

The registration fee of $30 per person includes a T-shirt, snacks and water. The rain-or-shine event starts at 9 a.m. Cedar Creek Park is located at 3340 Merrick Road in Seaford.
