Electric vehicle expo rolls into Nassau Coliseum
The national Electrify Expo is returning to Nassau Coliseum next month.
The expo, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13, will feature dozens of electric-powered mobility brands showing off their latest products and technologies.
Attendees will be able to explore electric cars, motorcycles, bikes, scooters, skateboards, surfboards, and more with interactive displays. Electric vehicle experts will be on hand to talk about products and the fast-growing industry.
The Electrify Expo drew 12,000 people to the Coliseum last year, where more than 5,000 test drives were taken on demo courses. Kids can check out the Kids Zone filled with electric go-karts, e-bikes and more.
Drive Electric Long Island, which will have a booth at the expo, is powered by the Long Island Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and partners that include Farmingdale State College; Suffolk County Community College; PSEG Long Island; Emerald Alternative Energy Solutions; EmPower Solar; Sierra Club, Sustainability Institute at Molloy University; Northwell Health; Estee Lauder; Cameron Engineering; Edgewise Energy; Greater Long Island Clean Cities Coalition; Long Island Progressive Coalition; EV Connect and others.
