Long Island Nets score with holiday shopping spree
The Long Island Nets spread holiday cheer by surprising eight local families with shopping sprees.
The shopping sprees took place at the Target store in Levittown. Led by Mfon Udolfia, the Long Island Nets head coach, the holiday good deed was also assisted by six Brooklyn and Long Island Nets players, Armoni Brooks, Dariq Whitehead, Noah Clowney, Keon Johnson, Jalen Wilson and Kaiser Gates.
The event was part of the annual Season of Giving initiative by the Long Island Nets in partnership with the nonprofit organization Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Long Island, in which both the Long Island Nets and Brooklyn Nets have donated holiday gifts and supplies to local Long Island families this season.
