Islanders game will raise money for the Clark Gillies Foundation
Fans of the New York Islanders can support the nonprofit created by one of the team’s legendary players.
As part of the Islanders “Hockey With a Heart” program, people attending one of their upcoming games will be supporting the Clark Gillies Foundation.
That’s because a portion of the proceeds from the upcoming New York Islanders vs. Florida Panthers game will directly benefit the foundation that helps children who are physically, mentally or financially challenged.
With every ticket purchased for the game, $5 will be donated to the Clark Gillies Foundation. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the UBS Arena at 2150 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont.
