Riverhead seeks volunteers for annual Earth Day cleanup

The Town of Riverhead Litter Committee is seeking volunteers to join its annual town-wide cleanup event to commemorate Earth Day.

This year’s cleanup is scheduled for Sunday, April 28 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Volunteers are asked to meet at the new Riverhead Town Hall at 4 West Second St. and register for a location they would like to clean up. Volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own garbage bags and disposable gloves if possible.
