“Bites and Brews” event to benefit Long Island Cares
A unique tasting event in Bay Shore will raise money for Long Island Cares.
Called “Bay Shore Bites and Brews,” the gathering takes place at the new Shoregate apartment complex in downtown Bay Shore from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21.
TRITEC Real Estate Company, Shoregate’s developer and organizer of the event, said “Bay Shore Bite and Brews” is a celebration of local flavors and community spirit, designed to foster connections between the residents of the 418-unit Shoregate and local retailers, and to showcase the revitalized spirit of Bay Shore to the wider Long Island construction and business communities.
Each of the participating eateries will bring their signature dishes and brews, offering attendees a taste of what makes Bay Shore a burgeoning culinary hotspot.
Those participating will include: Butera’s, Coastal Kitchen and Daiquiri Bar, Goldy’s Gems, Goody Two Shoes/The Linwood, Pecado, Roto, Tap Room, Tula Kitchen, Tullulah’s, The Pizzeria, Great South Bay Brewery and Take Two Brewery.
Tickets for the event are $25, with all proceeds benefiting Long Island Cares, an organization dedicated to combating food insecurity on Long Island.
