Long Island Adventure Park taking moms to new heights for Mother’s Day
If taking your mom climbing and ziplining sounds like fun, then The Adventure Park at Long Island offers a Mother’s Day experience that’s hard to top.
The park, built and operated by Outdoor Venture Group, is celebrating moms with its 2024 ‘Mother’s Day BOGO’ offer on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12. Guests who buy one 3-Hour ticket will get a free ticket for mom to climb too, any time between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
“If anyone deserves an adventure, it’s mom,” explained Park Manager Phil Insalaco. “This is a great chance to give her a family bonding experience she’ll always remember.”
The park’s 14 trails consist of various challenges in the trees, including bridges, tightropes, ladders and 49 ziplines. Participants wear harnesses with clips that connect to the trail’s safety system, ensuring that they are always locked on to the course until they reach the end.
The Adventure Park at Long Island is on the grounds of the Henry Kaufmann Campground at 75 Colonial Springs Road, East Gate in Wheatley Heights.
