New menu items at Long Island beaches for summer season

Just in time for the July 4th Weekend, Yummier Beach Club, operator of the food concessions at Jones Beach and Robert Moses State Parks, is unveiling new menu items at its multiple locations along the boardwalk and beaches.

The new Jones Beach Wing Co., located at the Boardwalk Café at the Central Mall at Jones Beach, headlines the new offerings, with an appetizing menu of chicken wings with sweet chili, classic barbecue and buffalo sauces, fried and grilled chicken sandwiches, and a massive chicken parmesan sandwich.

The new Yummier menu includes a fresh take on American beach classics, made-to-order, featuring fish and chips, gyros and fries, classic hot dogs and hamburgers, vegetarian options, and more. Yummier is also introducing freshly made gelato, created by Elias Trahanas, owner of Yummier Beach Club, and made available in a variety of flavors including mango, chocolate, black cherry, Nutella, and cappuccino.

“We want to make this the best summer yet at Jones Beach and Robert Moses,” said Trahanas. “Long Island’s beaches are among the best in the world. So, we should have the best beach food and drink experience as well.” Yummier operates at the Central Mall, West Bathhouse and Field 6 at Jones Beach, and at Fields 2, 3, 4 and 5 at Robert Moses Beach. Hours of operation at each location vary.
