Bango opens new location in Hauppauge

Quick-service restaurant chain Bango has opened a new location.

The new restaurant is located at 812 Wheeler Road in Hauppauge.

This is the chain’s eighth restaurant. The company formerly known as Bango Bowls has other locations in New Hyde Park, Massapequa Park, Westbury, Bay Shore, East Setauket, Larchmont and Scarsdale, according to its website.

The chain is dropping the ‘bowls’ from its name because its menu has many other offerings. Besides fruit, poke and grain bowls, Bango features smoothies, salads and sandwiches called Flaninis.

The company is planning several new locations, including Centereach and Plainview.
