‘Pink in the Park’ seeks vendors for September event in Huntington

“Pink in the Park” is seeking vendors for its Breast Cancer Prevention and Education Fair at Heckscher Park in Huntington on Sunday, Sept. 29.

The event aims to raise awareness and provide crucial information about breast cancer prevention and care.

Organizers are encouraging participation from a wide variety of vendors for things like essential breast cancer care items, jewelry, clothing, and other products, along with vendors who can contribute to creating a fun and engaging environment for families, including activities for children to enjoy. Participation in the event is free.

In addition to local business vendors, the fair will feature a Mobile Mammography Van courtesy of North Shore University Hospital, and opportunities to hear from breast cancer survivors, who will be sharing inspiring stories of their journeys.

Vendors interested in participating in the fair should contact Michelle Wright, legislative aide to Huntington Councilwoman Theresa Mari, at [email protected], or via phone at 631.351.3173.
