Pet Expo to be featured at Long Island Family Festival

The Long Island Pet Expo is coming to Copiague next month.

Hosted by Family Pet Shows, the free expo runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 at Tanner Park.

The Long Island Pet Expo is part of the Long Island Family Festival at Tanner Park, which runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14 and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. Besides the Pet Expo, the festival features carnival rides, live music, food, a car show, plenty of vendors, a pizza-eating contest and much more. Pay-one-price wristbands for the festival are offered for $37 each.

The Pet Expo will feature Corky’s International Haute Couture Pet Fashion Show, which takes place at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. The event will also feature several training demonstrations by Maximum K9.
