Cona Elder Law hosts murder mystery team-building event at LIMEHOF
Cona Elder Law in Melville participated in a summer team-building event this past month at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame, solving a murder mystery and going on a crime scavenger hunt within the museum as an interactive way for the usually office-bound team to bond.
With the help of Manhattan-based Watson Adventures, Cona Elder Law employees followed clues to solve a mystery and discover new things inside the museum in a fun, collaborative adventure.
“Our team building events are more than just a way to boost morale; they are an opportunity to connect with the local community and its cultural treasures,” said Jennifer B. Cona, founder and managing partner of Cona Elder Law. “By choosing venues like LIMEHOF, we aim to promote awareness and appreciation of Long Island’s rich artistic, musical, and historical heritage.”
This is not the first foray into cultural offsite team building for Cona Elder Law. The firm held a similar event at the Long Island Museum of American Art History and Carriages in Stony Brook in 2013 and, through Brew Cycles, explored Port Jefferson in 2014 and historic downtown Riverhead in 2015.
Last year, Cona Elder Law employees volunteered at Island Harvest at their Cooperative Farm in Brentwood, harvesting okra, beans and golden burst berries, while planting broccoli and cauliflower.
