Alcohol-free New Year’s Eve fun at THRIVE

Hauppauge-based community center THRIVE Suffolk will host a free recovery-friendly New Year’s Eve party on Dec. 31 for Long Islanders seeking a festive but alcohol-free way to ring in the New Year.

The event, open to adults 18 and older, provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals navigating recovery and anyone looking for a celebration without alcohol.

According to the National Institute of Health, the holiday season often sees increased alcohol consumption, which can be especially challenging for those in recovery. THRIVE’s celebration aims to offer a stress-free alternative featuring a live DJ, dancing, games, a photo booth and hors d’oeuvres.  

The party runs from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at THRIVE Suffolk, located at 1324 Motor Parkway, Suite 102, in Hauppauge.

Complimentary transportation through Lyft or Uber is available with at least 24 hours’ notice. Partygoers can call THRIVE Suffolk directly to arrange a ride. No reservations are required, and the event is free for all attendees.
