Hammer & Stain to open second Long Island location

Hammer & Stain, a hands-on DIY workshop studio, will be opening a new location at 9 Hawkins Ave. in the Station Yards complex in Ronkonkoma.

Hammer & Stain first opened in Sayville, where that studio experienced a fire shortly after the lease was signed for Station Yards, according to a statement from TRITEC Real Estate, which is developing Station Yards. Hammer & Stain continues to operate in Sayville, offering classes and workshops from their back workshop space as they rebuild.

At Hammer & Stain, patrons can look forward to a full schedule of group workshops, private customizable parties, and walk-in craft hours for adults and kids. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a corporate team-building event, or a casual night out with friends, Hammer & Stain offers a dynamic, hands-on activity that adds a personal touch to any gathering.

In addition, the studio will offer a unique retail experience that allows customers to custom-order bespoke goods and gifts, including handmade items and laser engraving.

“Guest experience and an immersive ambiance is the vision we sought for our second location, and we found that in Station Yards,” said Sandra Bernius, owner of Hammer & Stain. “We are deeply grateful to our loyal customers for their continued support during this challenging time in Sayville. We look forward to welcoming new and familiar faces to both studios. The sense of community at Station Yards enhances the experience we can provide our guests.”

The new Ronkonkoma studio is expected to open by the summer.
