The sky’s the limit at new adventure park
Long Island’s newest entertainment venue is slated to open in Lake Grove on Saturday, Nov. 16.
Urban Air Lake Grove, a unique indoor adventure park, features several high-flying attractions for both kids and adults.
The complex at 3147 Middle Country Road was transformed from the former home of a JC Penney department store and offers several dizzying experiences. There are walls to climb, trampolines to jump on and electric bumper-cars that spin you like a top.
One of the park’s highlights–and we mean high–is an attraction called the Sky Rider, where harnessed participants dangle 30-feet up as they fly through the air suspended on a winding track.
An all-access pass with no time limit costs $37.99 per person, though each attraction can also be experienced on an ala carte basis.
This will be the first Urban Air on Long Island. The Dallas-based chain has more than 100 locations in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
