Town scores NHL grant to boost youth hockey
The Town of Oyster Bay will use a National Hockey League grant to enhance its youth hockey league.
The $3,500 NHL grant will cover most of the cost for acquiring ice-rink dividers that split the ice surface at the town’s Bethpage rink.
Registration for the town’s 2020 Spring Youth Ice Hockey Program and House League continues through Sunday, Jan. 26 at the Town of Oyster Bay Ice Skating Center at 1001 Stewart Ave. in Bethpage. The program is open to girls and boys ages 3-16.
